How much does it cost?

It's £350 to get started — that covers professional installation, your first full month's rental, and removal when you no longer need it. After that it's £39 a month. That's it. No hidden fees, no surprises.

Is there a contract?

No fixed contract at all. You can cancel with just one month's notice, whether you've had the stairlift for a month or a year. We believe you should only pay for what you actually need.

What does the monthly fee include?

Everything. All servicing, all repairs, all call-outs — fully included in your £39 a month. If something needs attention, you ring us and we come out. No extra charges, ever.

Are there any other costs I should know about?

No. The £350 initial fee and £39 monthly rental are the only costs. Removal is included in the initial fee, so when you're done there's nothing more to pay.

How quickly can you install?

Most installations are completed within a week of your first call. If it's urgent, let us know and we'll do our best to get to you sooner.

How long does installation take?

Usually a couple of hours. We'll work carefully and tidily, and we won't leave until you feel completely confident using your stairlift.

Can you speed up the quote process?

Yes — if you can send us a photo from the top and bottom of your staircase, we can usually give you a firm quote straight away without needing to visit first. It takes two minutes and saves everyone time.

Will you need to make any changes to my staircase?

No. The Brooks Acorn Slimline rail is fitted to the stairs themselves, not the wall, so there's no drilling into walls and no permanent changes to your home.

What type of stairlift do you supply?

We specialise exclusively in the Brooks Acorn Slimline — a reliable, well-proven model that we know inside out. Every unit is reconditioned and thoroughly checked by us personally before installation.

Will it fit my stairs?

The Brooks Acorn Slimline is designed to fit most standard straight staircases. Give us a call and we'll talk it through — we'll be honest with you if it's not going to work for your staircase.

What happens if it breaks down?

Just ring us. All repairs are fully included in your monthly rental — no call-out charges, no parts fees. We'll come out and sort it as quickly as we can.

Is it safe?

Yes. The Brooks Acorn Slimline is a well-established, safety-tested model. Every unit we install has been reconditioned and checked by us. We'll also walk you through how to use it safely before we leave.

Where do you cover?

We cover all of South Wales. If you're not sure whether we can reach you, just give us a ring and we'll let you know.

Question 14

What happens when I no longer need the stairlift?

Accepted Answer

Just give us one month's notice and we'll come and collect it promptly, leaving your staircase exactly as we found it. Removal is included in your initial fee — there are no collection charges.
